Sometimes motivation can come from the strangest places - maybe it's a quote on a friend's FB wall, maybe it's seeing some progress on the scale, and maybe it's someone reaching out to you about new gear that gets your butt in gear.
It's not much of a secret - the "run" aspect of my blog title and life has been pretty minimal lately thanks to some pesky, nagging injuries. Luckily, that is beginning to change and thanks to the folks at JournalMenu, I have a great place to start logging my return to running.

Petoskey and Pine #review and #giveaway
Disclaimer: I was provided with a bar of soap and a lip balm free of charge from Petoskey and Pine for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
It's here! Remember when I hinted at a great giveaway a couple weeks ago? To recap, myself along with a dozen other bloggers, were given the opportunity to review some wonderful products from the Michigan-based company Petoskey and Pine. Petoskey and Pine makes soaps, candles and lip balm from all natural ingredients. My products contain
I selected the Lavender Spice soap and Petoskey and Pine also sent me Lavender lip balm. I've been using my soap and lip balm for several weeks now and my skin and lips are all silky smooth and lavender-y. I really do love the soap and it's lasting a long time just on the shelf in my shower. You know how some bar soaps get all dried out? Not so with this one. I would love to give another scent a try. You can check out the entire line here.
I adore the feeling of my lip balm as well, only if I had to choose, I would not have selected lavender for the scent. I don't really like the way it "tastes" (even though it doesn't really have a flavor, the scent is there and it isn't one I would choose to really eat). They have a few other flavors (tangerine, lemongrass, peppermint) that I think I would prefer, but that's just me.
Petoskey and Pine also makes soy candles. I didn't select a candle but several other bloggers did and they have raved about the scents and how long they last.
You can find Petoskey and Pine on their website, Facebook and Instagram. What scent sounds the best to you?
Do you want a chance to win a great gift set from Petoskey and Pine - just in time for Mother's Day, perhaps??? Enter through the Rafflecopter below. The contest will begin April 27th (today) and run for one week. Winners will be announced on May 4th! Good luck!

Petoskey and Pine Giveaway Sneak Peek
I am super excited to be one of a baker's dozen of bloggers reviewing products from Petoskey and Pine. As a Michigan resident, the opportunity to try out a local product is what interested me the most. When my mail came yesterday, the scent was like a little slice of lavender heaven. Petoskey and Pine makes soaps, candles and lip balm from all natural ingredients and I can't wait to try out my soap and lip balm.
You can read about the products on their website, Facebook, or Instagram. Please check out this post from A Day in the Life on the Farm to see what one of my lucky readers may win! The contest will begin on April 27th and will run for a week, with winners announced on May 4th.

#TBT: My First Marathon - Grand Rapids 2011
In a little over 2 weeks, I'm going to be running my second marathon, so I took a walk down memory lane this morning and decided to share it with you.
![]() |
My kids ran the finish with me :) |
My friend Judi gave me my medal and lots of hugs while we both cried. |
This race made me a marathoner. |
You can read my full race report here. There's even some video of me running and crossing the finish line, which was kind of interesting to watch (hello straight robot legs!). It makes me wonder what I look like now as I run since I think my running style has changed a lot over the past 3 years. I know I'm faster - at least most days :)
I'm going to miss having that escort down the finishing shoot in Detroit.
What are you remembering today?
ps-congrats to Corey, Nicole and Ginger who won some cool Breast Cancer Awareness headbands and sweatbands in my giveaway! Check your emails, ladies :)

Save 2nd Base - a #giveaway for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Did you know that 1 in 8 US women (about 12%) will develop breast cancer in her lifetime? (source)
When I think about my girlfriends, aunts, cousins, and sister, and think that of every 8 of us, 1 of us could be diagnosed, that's a very scary statistic.
So far, my family and I have been lucky. For this I'm very thankful. Unfortunately, I know too many friends and co-workers who have not.
While breast cancer is largely related to genetics, there are some things you can do to reduce your chances - or at least catch it early.
- Limit alcohol, don't smoke and control your weight.
- Be physically active.
- Breast feed.
- Limit the duration of hormone therapy.
- Reduce exposure to radiation and environmental toxins.
- Take advantage of early detection examinations - most insurance companies cover regular physicals and mammograms. I just had mine and am blessed to have received a clean bill of health! If they don't, there may be agencies in your area which will cover them for uninsured women. You just have to do your research.
- Know your own breasts. Take note of any visible changes. Do breast self-exams. If you have any suspicion that something seems "off" - see your doctor. (source, source)
Want to win? Enter through Rafflecopter below - mandatory entry is to leave a comment listing 1 thing you will do to help save 2nd base in yourself or someone you love.

Fitness Friday: a birthday #giveaway
If you know me IRL or are friends with me on Facebook or Twitter, you may have heard a rumor that today is my birthday. The rumor isn't a rumor - it's true. I'm 44 years old today. Happy Birthday to me :)
One of the reasons I exercise and try to eat right is to ensure I keep having birthdays. After all, the best gift we can give to ourselves is the gift of good health. I wrote a bit about that over at The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans today if you're interested. One of my birthday traditions is to run on my birthday. I didn't want to run today and then do my long run tomorrow, so I moved my long run up a day so I could kill two birds with one stone.
Because I love all of you and the encouragement you give me here to do crazy things, like train for a marathon, I want to give one of you a present. Consider it my birthday gift to you.
Leave a comment telling me one thing you've done this year to improve your health. Tomorrow night I'll choose one comment at random and send you a little something (make sure there's a way for me to contact you)!
Now bring on the gluten free cupcakes!

Race Preview: 2nd Annual Detroit Women's Half Marathon and 5k #giveaway
Back in April, I ran my first women's only half marathon and I was HOOKED. I was working as an ambassador for Another Mother Runner at the Gazelle Girl Half Marathon here in Grand Rapids, MI. I met so many first time half-marathoners at the Expotique that I knew I absolutely had to be a part of running in this environment. I signed up for the race at the expo and ran with only a 7 mile long run under my belt (do as I say, not as I do - I've run lots of halfs and had a plan to cover the distance). Seeing women I'd met at the Expotique while out on the course and the camaraderie and encouragement everyone was giving was infectious.
Fast forward a few months. I have been given the opportunity to again partner with Another Mother Runner as their AMR Ambassador at the Detroit Women's Half Marathon and 5k September 20 and 21, 2014! In addition to rep'ing AMR at the Expotique on September 20th (please come see me at the AMR booth!!!), the wonderful women behind the Detroit Women's Half Marathon and 5k have partnered with me as one of their featured bloggers.
The Detroit Women's Half Marathon and 5k was a huge success in their inaugural year last year and they have even more planned for 2014. Having outgrown their space, they are planning a bigger and better Expotique at Cobo Hall with tons of fun exhibitors, an incredible swag packet, pampering, and a shake-out run hosted by Fellow Flowers! The Detroit Women's Half Marathon and 5k have chosen Go Red for Women, an initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health, as their charity partner. They are profiling women Heart Heroes on their website because they are so passionate about women's heart health. In addition to telling their story, women selected as Heart Heroes receive complementary entry to the race of their choice. If you would like to apply to be a Heart Hero, please visit the Heart Hero page for more information.
I'm so excited to run the half marathon on beautiful Belle Isle, which is now a Michigan State Park, as a tune-up race to the Detroit International Marathon! But what if you can't make it to Detroit the weekend of September 20 and 21? In addition to the race on Belle Isle, this year women can register to run the Detroit Women's Half Marathon and 5k as a virtual race! All virtual racers will receive the same "swag" as race day participants, including a super soft t-shirt, bib number, virtual swag bag, and the coolest medal in the D!
What does this mean to you? It means one of my lucky readers is going to get to run the Detroit Women's Half Marathon or 5k too! They have offered one race entry for me to give away to one of you. Are you SQUEEEING yet??? You will have your choice of the half marathon or 5k. (If you are not within a reasonable distance, I can make this a virtual race entry but would STRONGLY encourage you to run the race with me on Belle Isle. The winner will be responsible for any transportation or lodging needs.)
So how do you get to be a part of Women Run the D? Just enter the handy-dandy Rafflecopter contest below! I hope to see you in Detroit!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
The contest will run from Tuesday, July 15, 2014 to Monday, July 21, 2014 and is open to anyone. Winner will be announced by July 23rd and will have until the 26th to confirm or I will select another winner.
The legal mumbo jumbo: I was provided with a complimentary entry to the Detroit Women's Half Marathon and 5k as well as a second entry to give away. Winner is responsible for any and all costs related to getting to the race and lodging. If you choose to use the winnings as a virtual race, please let me know. The Detroit Women's Half Marathon and 5k, myself, and Live Laugh Run Breathe are trusting you to train and run responsibly. No claims may be made against us for injuries that may occur during the event. You know what you are getting yourself into when you sign up to run. You'll be signing the waiver when you register and all that stuff applies here too.

Winner Winner Curried Chicken Salad Dinner
First things first! The "Winner Winner" portion of today's post.
Congrats to Brooke for winning the Suddora Headband giveaway for declaring her goal: "I want to cut an hour off my marathon time"! (The awesome training runs Brooke has been posting leave me no doubt she can do this.)

And now the Chicken Salad Dinner!
I've had this can of chicken in my cupboard for far too long and decided yesterday that I wanted to make Chicken Salad. I wasted time perused Pinterest for awhile but never found any recipes that a) I had all the ingredients for, or b) sounded good to me.
So I did what any red-blooded American would do and I made up my own recipe based on about 5 of the ones I found. (I'm not a good enough cook to completely wing it.)
I give you Curried Chicken Salad with Apples, Raisins and Almonds
Ingredients:
1 small red apple (I think I used a Gala apple)
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup cold water
Large can chicken (about 2 cups cooked, chopped. Leftover rotisserie chicken would work great too)
1/4 cup chopped celery (about 1 small stalk) - not pictured because I threw it in at the last minute
1/2 cup light mayo (I imagine you could try regular mayo or Greek yogurt as well). Use more if you want a creamier salad.
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/2 tsp curry powder (add this much and if you want more curry flavor, add some more to taste after mixing it)
1/4 cup slivered almonds (or any chopped nuts will do)
salt, pepper

1. Core and chop the apple, leaving the skin on. Put it in a bowl with the lemon juice and water and set aside.
2. Add remaining ingredients in another bowl and gently mix.

3. Drain the apples well and add them to the chicken mixture.

please excuse my horrible food photography skills |
This was probably one of the simplest recipes I've ever thrown together with just stuff I had in the house. You could easily change it to suit your tastes by adding different fruit (I LOVE pineapple in chicken salad but you have to drain it very well), spices, nuts, etc.
Now a completely random question because we're on Mid-Winter Break from school but stuck at home because I didn't think ahead to plan a trip...Where would you go if you had a 4 day weekend? I'm thinking 4 days in the Mayan Riviera sounds perfect right about now.

Declare It Day & a #giveaway
This past February 1st, I got together with a bunch of amazing women for Declare It Day. What is Declare It Day, you ask? According to Fellow Flowers,
"Declare It Day is about putting words and dreams into action and declaring a goal that you are committed to working toward and achieving."
![]() |
photo from Susan |
The idea is to put in writing a goal that scares you, that is outside your comfort zone enough that will require you to work for it. You then declare it out loud and your friends help you stick to your resolve and help you do whatever it takes to reach that goal. What's my goal?
"In 2014, I declare to run a 4:59 marathon by following a smart training plan, listening to my body, and not running races as training runs."
EEK!
EEK!

I have my sights set on the 2014 Detroit Marathon. This is a scary goal for me since I'm not able to run more than 3 miles at a time, 2 times a week. It's going to be tough but I'm not giving up yet.

And now for the Giveaway portion of today's post! Suddora Sports sent me 2 Suddora Velvet Lined Headbands, one to keep (in black) and one to give away (in white). These are great for sweaty workouts when you don't want something sliding out of your hair. It even keeps my shorter bangs out of my face and the elastic on the back doesn't slide up either.
Enter to win using the Rafflecopter below. Mandatory entry - leave a blog post telling me one thing that scares you (can be a fitness goal or not). Additional entries are available by following Suddora on Twitter and Facebook, liking Live Laugh Run Breathe on Facebook, and tweeting about this giveaway. Giveaway is good to anyone in the US. Make sure there's a way for me to reach you so I can send you your headband if you win! Contest begins 2/10/14 and ends 2/16/14.
If you can't wait to win, Suddora has set up a 50% discount for my readers, good until 2/28/14 when you order a headband through Amazon.

The Summit Seeker book review and #giveaway
![]() |
source |
Vanessa will be the first to tell you this is NOT a book about how to run faster. It's not a training guide. It is a memoir about running from a young woman who has learned to use running as a way to escape and heal. Each chapter reads as it's own essay with topics ranging from home (12 different addresses) to dogs to Steve Jobs to making excuses.
I enjoyed reading Vanessa's perspective and I believe you will too. Vanessa was very gracious to send me an extra paperback copy for one of my readers! All you have to do is enter through the Rafflecopter widget below. If you want, you can also find her book on Amazon here. It is available in a Kindle edition for $4.99 or paperback for $11.69.
Vanessa blogs here. You can also follow Vanessa on Facebook, by liking her Facebook page The Summit Seeker, and on Twitter @VanessaRuns
Good luck! The contest will run until 12:00 am EST on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013. There are multiple chances to enter, so get to it!

Thankful Thursday: 3 randoms
After a very rough first 2 days back to work this week, I felt I needed to find some good (besides the fact I have the next 5 days off before I have to work again).
Here goes:

My trail - I had a great 8 mile ride this morning to shake out the cobwebs and the legs. (Yes, I took this while going about 16 mph).
My great, new YMX by Yellowman top. Perfect for the ride this morning - even though it's long sleeve it's so light that it isn't hot. Plus, it just looks cool.

Most important thanks - Dad is being discharged from rehab today and going home from the hospital. He's been in for almost a month after 2 back surgeries and is very happy (albeit nervous too) about going home. Prayers please that the doctors figure out some better pain management because while his mobility is better his pain is not.
What are you thankful for today?
ps - don't for get I have a giveaway going on for a great 8x10 canvas print.

Easy Canvas Prints: review and #giveaway

Photo on Canvas
I'm super excited to share this product with you! A while back, I was asked if I'd like to review a canvas print from Easy Canvas Prints. The timing was perfect because I wanted a new picture of my twins (they were turning 16) and M and D had just gotten back from a hiking trip up north. I had lots of pictures to choose from.
The process is super easy. You just upload your picture to their website (they can even do Instagrams), select the options you want, and in about 2 weeks (it was actually faster than this for mine) you get a beautiful print nice enough to hang on the wall or display however you like. I think my prints turned out beautifully. The camping picture has black around the edge of the frame while the one of the twins has the edges of the photo around the sides (they are wrapped canvases). It was nice to have this option because the picture of all the guys was too close to the edge to wrap. The only thing I didn't think to do was add a stand (the print comes with hooks for hanging). I thought the picture would stay upright on its own but it really doesn't. Right now they are propped up in the bookcase.

Thankful Thursday: getaways and a winner!
I love vacations. Being able to spend some time recharging is important to me. For my birthday last week, I bought myself a little getaway. I unplugged (for the most part) and spent a few days relaxing and exploring. I even went on a short run.
Where did I go? To the Happiest Place on Earth of course!

Where else would a Disney fan go on vacation? That last picture is from the new (started last November I think) Celebrate the Magic show where they projected images onto Cinderella Castle while music played. I was mesmerized and may have even shed a tear or two. (Google it and you can find videos of the show. It's a must see.) I'm a huge fan of the fireworks but this show might be a new favorite.
And now onto the little giveaway I mentioned last week!
Congrats, Erin!! I have a few little running goodies to send out to you.
Do you have a "Happiest Place on Earth" where you like to go and unwind?

Fitness Friday: Flunking PT but someone's a winner
So, it would appear that I am flunking out of PT - or maybe being suspended for bad behavior is more accurate. I've had no improvement in my shin/calf with the deep tissue work and e-stim that he and his assistant have been doing. I've been following my exercises (but will admit to slacking off on the weekend) and I haven't seen any improvement there either, unless you count them just being easier to complete.
The PT recommended a different shoe and my running store only had one on his list in stock (he had 5 listed - 2 Brooks and 2 Asics, plus the crazy Newtons that I can't even begin to afford). I tried the Brooks Adrenalin in the store and absolutely hated them. One of my "orders" was to work on less heal strike and the Brooks he recommended made me feel like I was heel striking even more. Because of this, the very knowledgeable sales girl suggested I try the Omni 11 from Saucony. It has a lower drop and is supposed to promote a more mid-foot strike. They were ugly but felt ok jogging around the running store so I bought them (and returned the cute-ish Asics I'd been breaking in for the last month - mega dumb move but I only had 2 days left on their 30 day warranty from the store and I really can't afford 2 pair of $120 shoes that will just sit in my closet).
Wednesday I hit the gym for some upper body work and a trial run in the Saucony's. The arm work was good in that *holy shit I can't lift my arms anymore* sort of way.
The run? Epic Fail
Now, I really wasn't expecting a miracleor maybe I was but hate to admit it but I expected to be able to run at least a couple slow miles without much difficulty. Boy, was I ever wrong. The shoes felt heavy and clunky on my feet and trying to focus on a mid-foot strike was mentally and physically exhausting. I felt like a fool prancing on the treadmill - I don't know how else to describe it. Ever try running on your toes for more than a few steps? That's what it was like. I stuck with it for a mile and my calves were screaming at me and my shin still hurt like a mofo. I had it in my head I was going to run 2 miles, so I tried the indoor track to see if that was any easier. Nope. Only went another 1/2 mile and it took everything not to have a complete and total meltdown on the track. I left the gym feeling like I was never going to be able to call myself a runner again. I'm a bit of a drama queen. I tend to overreact when I'm tired and frustrated. Just when I feel like my running is improving and I'm half-way decent, I get told I run wrong and the only way to fix my stress injury is to change the way I run. I don't think it's going to happen and if it does, it certainly isn't going to happen overnight. Plus, I see people running all the time with much worse form than me - so why am I having all these problems?
The past 2-3 weeks, and this week especially, have really sucked for me from a running standpoint. I go from setting a monster 5k PR on Thanksgiving Day to not even being able to run 2 miles. One of the shoes the PT recommended was the Asics 2170 GTs that I've been running in for the past few years. Why he would recommend the shoe that I was using when all of my issues started is beyond me, but I think he's saying with the addition of the orthotics, they will have better support now. I ordered them from Zappos Wednesday night and they were on my doorstep Thursday afternoon (gotta love Zappos). I'm crossing my fingers and praying they work, because frankly I don't know what else to do. I know not to expect a miracle when I run on Saturday but I'm hoping these are better than the Brooks. I was invited to a group run Saturday morning but I'm not running with the girls because I really can't keep up right now. It's frustrating.
I'm planning to look at going back to the Good Form Running clinic at my running store (I went to one this summer) but unless someone is actually working with me while I run, I don't think I'm going to be able to change my gait. Maybe I'll just keep working on upping the cadence - I've had better luck with that. Another friend suggested I try some barefoot running (which is also recommended by GFR) but it's winter here now. I can't run outside in the grass/snow unless I want frostbite or we get a really warm day and the gym doesn't allow barefoot ANYWHERE except the pool. I suggested to my friend with a treadmill (who is also a PT) that I wanted to try that on her treadmill, but she didn't think it was a great idea since I'm already injured. She thinks the surface is going to be too hard but said I could come over and give it a shot if I kept it REALLY short. The last thing I need is to add a stress fracture in my foot to my already long list of issues. Also, expect to see lots of 15 min "Rehab Exercises" types of posts on Daily Mile. I'm ticked the PT didn't give me a better list of things to do (I only have one exercise) so I came up with a bunch of calf stretches and foam rolling to do in addition to the theraband stability exercises he gave me.
I know this post was essentially a depressing brain dump and I'm sorry. I just needed to get some of this crap out. I still have a couple PT sessions scheduled but I don't know if he's going to want to see me or not. It depends on whether I can get a couple good trial runs in between now and Monday. If I can't do what he's asking me to do, there really isn't much point in continuing to charge my insurance company (and me for whatever the copays might be). I might just end up doing a ton of cross training and hoping I can fix myself.
So, how about some fun now that I've been all Debbie Downer on you? Thank you to everyone who commented on my motivation post on Monday. You all have some great methods for turning demotivators into positive motivation! Now, without further ado, the winner of my $20 iTunes or Starbuck's gift card is.....

Take last night...I ran 6 on the treadmill because it' was on the schedule. About mile 3.5 I was tired and almost stopped. But then I remembered last weekend? My feet carried me 28 miles. Of course I could do 2.5 more.
But sometimes you do need a break. Switch things up a bit.
I wish I had a running buddy here that I could go out with. I think that would help a lot. Having someone to be accountable for helps immensely. :) "
Congrats Kirsten!!! The music or coffee will serve you well as you get ready to kick Goofy's butt in January!!! Now if we can only come up with another girls weekend I could be that running buddy for you. An email is on it's way for you to pick your prize :)

Motivation Monday: How do you motivate? and a #giveaway!
Last week, I was talking about not knowing what to write about and my friend asked me, "Why don't you write about what motivates you, when were you excited to get out and run? Why?" We kept chatting and the conversation lead to a discussion about things that DE-motivate as well. Have you ever thought about that? How we have motivators and demotivators that impact us? I realized the topic fit well with my usual Monday blog posts - and I wouldn't just need to rip something off Pinterest. This is a bit long, but stick with me, I promise it will be worth it.
So, what DOES motivate me and get me excited to go out and run?
The answer for me is pretty simple. Success. When I see improvement and positive results, I want more. That gets my butt out the door and to the gym or motivates me to eat better.
Success as a motivator for me also explains why bad runs or bad workouts are so frustrating. I need to feel successful or I lose motivation. I've been struggling with this quite a bit since I got injured last spring. It seems I'm always in a cycle of 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Luckily, the math works and I'm still moving forward, but it's still hard to feel motivated to train when you think you're failing. It's also very difficult to set your sights in the far future.
Training hard now for a race in 4 months is tough. But, if you have a good run during that training, you get excited to have another good run. I think most training plans are set up to help give you some success in this regard. You aren't asked to go out and run 10 miles on your first long run (unless, perhaps, you're training for a marathon and you've been running consistently for a year - that's a bit different). You start slowly and build your way up, thus ensuring some element of success and reducing the chance you'll get injured.
What are some other motivators?
I can see redemption in there. I'm often motivated to redeem myself after a bad workout. I think my 5k PR was fueled by some of that need to redeem what I felt was a very bad performance at Disney.
Anyone ever get motivated by anger? A very dangerous motivator because we tend to think irrationally, often reacting. Get pissed. Go for a hard run. Get injured. I've never done this, though. (yah, right)
Vengeance? Maybe you run to get back at someone.
Are these positive motivators or negative motivators? They all have the potential to motivate you out the door, but is success (as a positive motivator) better than a motivator that is more negative? Think about positive and negative reinforcement you may use with your children. The addition or removal of something can have a positive result, but It's a gamble. (Psych 101 lesson: Remember, "negative reinforcement, by definition, is the removal of a stimulus to increase a desired behavior, as opposed to "punishment" which is the addition of a stimulus to reduce an undesirable behavior.) The results with using negative reinforcement can be mixed. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Typically positive reinforcement (and in the case of this post - positive motivator) is more effective. You always win regardless of the outcome. Does this make sense?
My friend used the analogy of the movie, Monsters, Inc. to describe the concept of positive and negative motivators. The monsters needed energy, which they traditionally got by scaring kids. That's motivation by fear - a negative motivator. Somewhat effective. Laughter - the positive motivator - was much more powerful. They used a negative (fear) to produce a positive response (energy for their city). It was a different motivating factor. Laughter was much more powerful than fear.
What about DE-motivators? Feeling I've failed is a demotivator for me. Demotivators would produce negative results. What are some other demotivators besides the sense of failure?
I would say stagnating is a demotivator. Not failing but not improving either. I think this is a great reason to mix up your goals or your workouts. Your body gets bored just as easily as your mind. Mixing it up helps keep you from feeling stuck in your workouts.
What about a lack of encouragement? I know it's important to motivate yourself, but sometimes it's nice to have someone we love tell us they're proud of us: for working hard, sticking with a training plan, for setting a new PR, or just for getting off our butts. If we don't hear these this, we might not keep working at it.
The key is to turn these demotivators or negative motivators into positive motivators. When you find something that's blocking you - demotivating you - what do you do to turn that around?
The challenge is to turn those bad runs or workouts into positives.
I've been thinking about this conversation all week and I want to know what you think, and I want to reward you with some positive motivation for telling me :)
As my way of saying "thank you" for the past year of following me here on this journey and helping to motivate me, I'm going to give one lucky reader their choice of something else that helps motivate me: $20 worth of iTunes music or coffee from Starbucks in the form of a gift card. Winner's choice. :)
How do you enter?
- For a mandatory entry, answer my question: When you find something that's demotivating you (a negative motivator) how do you turn it into a positive?
